New unidentified folders showing up Windows Backup storage drive
With the first backup a folder with the name of the computer was created along with a MediaID.bin file. Inside the computer folder are folders for each full backup, and inside each of those is a folder for the full backup and a folder for each daily incremental backup. From my reading of how Windows Vista File Backup works, this is all as expected.

Headphone jack stops working after some time on fresh install - Win ...
I upgraded to Windows 8 last month. After a month of happy time suddenly last week, I stopped getting audio from my headphone jack while internal speakers worked fine. I dual boot into Kubuntu (a linux distribution) as well. Surprisingly, the headphone jack was working fine on Linux.
